Sight

Up in the sky where clouds be born

Seeing shapes take their form

Amongst the trees in many places

Seeing within them friendly faces

Animals that frolic and bout

Seeing a story play out

Fog that sets upon the plain

Seeing ghosts wail in pain

Shadows that dance about at night

Seeing monsters that lurk our of sight

Wolves that howl to a wanning moon

Seeing a creature of utter doom

Watching the sun across the sky

Seeing earth stand still as all goes by

The balance of nature to give and take

Seeing only for one's own sake

A record of human history

Seeing who's version is a mystery

A war that turned to holocaust

Seeing a crusade and all its cost

Right and wrong a truthful tale

Seeing it through a tinted veil

A massacre of bloody surrender
