What is this around my neck

I struggle against it

My throat hurts

My lungs burn

I cant breath

I cant run away

I cant move

And yet they continue to strike me with strange stones

They drag me for what seems like forever

Where are they taking me

They throw me down

But i cant get up

I am in a tree

This is like no tree i have ever seen

I am surrounded with branches with no leaves

I cant get away

What is that smell

Why is the air warm

Why do they carry a stone that glows

What is its purpose

The pain

Why does it hurt

The pain is like that of no other wound

I never knew something could be so hot

Why are they doing this to me

They were the ones that invaded these lands

They pulled down the trees and left us with out shelter

Why must these creatures taunt us so

Why can they not live in harmony with us

They have no idea what they will lose in their quest for ultimate gain
