Draco

Tooth and claw ravened his shield
His sword struck scales stronger than that of any shield
Why does he seek the destruction of a beast that could surely be his own
He seeks to destroy that which he fears
He fears that which he does not understand
He does not understand that which lay in awe before him
For in his own eyes he shares no equal
He seeks to dominate all that is before him
For man is a fool to think that he may play god
His quest for power will be his undoing
The dragon which he hath slain will yield a great story
The story will grow old and become a legend of long ago
The legend in time will be nothing more than a myth
A myth that will intrigue all those who hear its tale
One should not see it as a noble knight slaying a dragon
But rather as a dragon who's awe man could not comprehend
True might does not lie in strength and destruction
True might is having the power to destroy
And not
Having the power
And the restraint
Only then will man achieve true immortality
For that is something that can not be forgotten
