What makes a hero a hero

Is it his pride and strength

Is it her devotion and care

Is it a masculine defender

Or a motherly guardian

Is it his honor

Is it her courage

Are they made in the midst of battle

Or in the tranquility of a humble abode

Do they risk all they have

Or is all they have what they risk

Do they do it because they can

Or because they cant

Is it to give their life purpose

Or is it to give purpose life

Do they do so because they fear not

Or do they fear the fear of not doing so

Are their deeds done because of watchful eyes

Or do watchful eyes know not of their deeds

The heroic dynamics of heroism are clouded by societal perception

The truth is

Heroes don't exist

They never have

And never will

One can not be a hero

They are those of the departed

They are those that did despite the fact they couldn't
