Life is like a river
It gives you a little shiver
It turns and bends
Rapid and slow
This way and that
A steady flow
Always changing always moving
Harsh and somewhat soothing
It can overflow and dry up
Beneath the surface it floats
Over and through
Bridges and boats
Jump and swim
Go out on a limb
The current of fate
Many fish to see
If swept away
It leads out to sea
